I’m new blood, a recent B.Sc in Software Development graduate focusing on AI developments. Honestly, it’s excitingly alarming how fast and with what breadth AI, agentic workflows, harnesses have gone. My friends at Pangram and other companies have done great work- they’ve had to hunker down but peering into their early showcases is really a bay of wonder and stupefacation.

I’d love to sink my teeth into it too with actual use-work instead of theory. Seems an utter brilliant mix of fun and novelty.

I’ve been hacking away at IT support work. Think: Active Directory melting, VPNs malfunctioning, devices failing, zealous antiviruses. Mind numbing. Intricate tacit knowledge problems- one can’t develop against an obtuse scanner one has to tick, untick, set, reset complicated configuration set across many different failpoints. And design and negotiate with clients to extract the highest benefit but prevent it breaking again.

I had fun but I’d like to switch fields at this point.
